Javier Jaén (Barcelona, 1983) studied Graphic Design and Fine Arts in Barcelona, New York and Budapest. His professional activities focus on editorial illustration, book covers, and cultural communication. His is a symbolic, playful language, and he looks for narrative scenarios and aesthetics in close context, related to the everyday experience.

He has worked for The New York Times, The New Yorker, The Washington Post, Time, Harvard University, National Geographic, Greenpeace, Penguin Random House, Vueling Airlines, UNESCO, Camper, Solvia, Louis Vuitton among others.

He has taught at Istituto Europeo di Design, IDEP, and frequently runs workshops and lectures. His work has been recognized by AGI Membership (2015), the Society of Illustrators (Illustrators 55, 56, 60 ), American Illustration (AI33, AI34, AI38, AI39), Print magazine (New Visual Artist 2013), Junceda Award (2013), Gràffica Award (2010), Laus (Grand Laus 2016, Golden 2017, Silver 2018) and the D&AD Pencil (2017). He has participated in exhibitions in New York, London, El Salvador, Tallinn, Rome, Ciudad de México and Barcelona. He has still not written a child, planted a book, or given birth to a tree.

Regarding your order
Each item is packaged individually and securely so as to ensure there is no damage in transit. Large scale prints are rolled up and packaged in cardboard tubes, while small prints are sent flat, in resistant cardboard covers. In both cases the prints are protected so as to avoid marks and blemishes. If your item is sent in a cardboard tube, we recommend that you remove it from the packaging as soon as possible.

Shipping
Once payment has been successfully made, you will receive a confirmation email of your order.
The items will be sent via Correos Express or UPS. Shipping times vary according to the product and your location. For national deliveries(Spain) we estimate 7-10 working days, and 10-15 working days for international deliveries. Overseas shipping costs vary according to destination and the local customs fees of each country. The purchaser is responsible for all customs fees, VAT costs and any other taxes accrued regarding the purchase. The company will not be responsible for any delay due to an incorrect or inexact postal address, or due to national holidays or any other unforeseen issue.

Returns Policy
You may return your purchase up to 7 days after arrival. To return or exchange an item, send us an email at [email protected] with your order number, details of the item and the reason for returning. We will then get in contact to proceed with the return. All costs related to shipping, fees or taxes must be paid by the sender. We will issue a refund once the item has been received undamaged. The shipping costs are non-refundable.

Damaged Goods
